Djo To Join Gracie Abrams On Tour In Boston
Breakout rock singer-songwriter Djo (Joe Keery) will join pop superstar Gracie Abrams on her highly anticipated The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour this summer. The duo will kick off the tour at TD Garden on July 23 and July 24. The performance marks Abrams' first headlining arena show and Djo's first arena performance.
Both acts have a deep connection with the city, making their pair-up extra special for the artists and their fans. Djo is a born-and-raised Massachusetts native, and Abrams has family she visits across New England. Abrams infuses Boston into her storytelling, with lyrics like "Feel like maybe I might go to Boston" from "Augusta" and "I took a train to Boston and I wanted to cry" from "Tough Love" becoming fan favorites.
The show follows Abrams' sold-out performance at MGM Music Hall in October 2024 and marks a little over a year since she joined collaborator Noah Kahan on stage at Fenway on July 18. Djo will be smack dab in the middle of touring, having just finished his Back On Your World Tour, which ends in June, and his Another Bite Tour, which starts this fall. The singer just had his first performance in Boston at a sold-out Roadrunner on May 2. Frontman Joe Keery recently reunited with his Post Animal bandmates to create their newest album, IRON, out July 25. Could either of these TD Garden shows see a performance from the original Post Animal?
The shows might be sold out now, but Following Boston will keep an eye out for more contests and ticket updates as they arise.
