SOFIA ISELLA Brings Her You'll Understand More, Dick Tour to Boston

Sofia Isella brought her You'll Understand More, Dick tour to Boston, MA on Friday, October 25th — and it was everything and more. Known for her melodic, dark aesthetic, Sofia set the perfect mood for a cool October night in the heart of Boston’s theater district at the Royale.

Making a striking entrance to a crowd buzzing with anticipation, Sofia walked on stage spraying a water bottle — first on herself, then onto the audience — before launching into “Out in the Garden,” followed by “Hot Gum.” Within just the first few songs, the crowd was already in awe, completely drawn into her world.

There’s an intensity to Sofia that’s utterly captivating. At one point, she joked with the audience, saying people often tell her she scares them — then challenged Boston to lose themselves in the music and scare her back. From mesmerizing violin solos to stepping off stage and into the crowd for “All of Human Knowledge Made Us Dumb,” Sofia created a raw, intimate connection with fans. Surrounded by glowing phone lights, she held hands with audience members as she sang — a moment that felt both vulnerable and powerful.

What makes her performance even more impressive is that it’s just her on stage — yet she keeps the energy high from start to finish. Sofia’s own take on choreography keeps her in constant motion, effortlessly blending movement with her artistry. Between playing guitar, violin, and delivering pure, striking vocals, she fills the stage with a presence that feels larger than life.

As the set inched closer to the end, Sofia performed “Doll People,” a crowd favorite that had everyone screaming the lyrics right along with her. With each song, she transformed the venue into a spellbinding experience — every glance, every lyric, every note drawing the audience deeper into her world.

After performing at Boston Calling back in May 2025 and gaining even more fans in the city, it felt special to have her back — and Boston made sure she knew it. By the final chords, the room was buzzing, reminded of just how magnetic and fearless Sofia Isella is.
