Austin City Limits is celebrating its 25th anniversary over these two weekends. Weekend One was an incredible blend of nostalgia, raw energy, and breakout performances. Ironically, the only day it rained in Central Texas was the day the festival opened. But that didn't stop thousands of fans from all over the country from trekking through the mud and dirt to rock out to their favorite songs.

The first weekend was anchored by massive headliners like Skrillex, Twenty One Pilots, Charli XCX, and The xx – the latter of which I had the absolute honor of capturing. Their magnetic sound absolutely mesmerized the crowd!

But the magic of ACL extends far beyond the main stages. Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko brought undeniable Latin heat and fierce energy to the lineup.

Saint Motel absolutely rocked the crowd and delivered one of my favorite sets of the entire festival, to be honest. Between the adrenaline rush, the non-stop jumping, and the frontman going right into the crowd, it was unforgettable.

We also saw Bleachers delivering a massive, multi-instrumental spectacle, Audrey Hobert bringing her signature quirkiness, Suki Waterhouse setting a beautifully romantic mood, and Lykke Li casting a spell with her mesmerizing, ethereal sound.

All of this stood out among dozens of other rising stars and old-school rock legends.
