For over a decade, Following Backstage has helped emerging artists launch their careers through hands-on experience, live event coverage, and collaborations with leading brands to create authentic, engaging content.
The vision began with producer Michael Kalish’s original documentary series, Following Boston, which spotlighted the city’s vibrant photography community and featured notable figures, including Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary.
Today, Following Backstage has evolved into a thriving creative platform and community, connecting more than 25,000 followers while inspiring nearly half a million images tagged #FollowingBoston. Through its continued support of photographers, artists, and creators, the platform remains dedicated to discovering talent, building connections, and giving emerging voices a stage.
