Barns Courtney – Sonia

“His energy is so contagious – he knows how to fire up the crowd,” is what I heard someone say while we were waiting for Barns in the evening chill of Cambridge.

He is one of those artists I thought I’d never get the chance to see live. Since I know every one of his songs and even performed a few covers back in high school, capturing his set made the 16-year-old in me wiggle and squeal.

Barns is one of a kind; there is no barrier between him and the audience. He talks, laughs, and quite literally jumps into the crowd. It felt less like a concert and more like a big hangout between friends.
