Boston-Based Comedian Joe Fenti Makes New Hampshire Tour Stop

Before comedy, Joe Fenti worked a corporate job, scheduling client meetings, wearing Patagonia vests, and answering to bosses who could barely open a PDF. During his Jan. 16 show at the Rex Theatre in Manchester, NH, Joe joked about sitting through pointless meetings while daydreaming about life on stage. One such moment came while he was drafting a joke idea, which led to an awkward office misunderstanding after coworkers discovered an underlined note in his notebook that read, “Bomb Airport.”

Joe has built a strong following on TikTok and Instagram with skits that poke fun at the absurdity of corporate culture. At the Rex Theatre, he proved his comedy goes well beyond office life, with takes on everything from Chris Pratt’s voice acting to how little guy friends actually know about each other. He also touched on sports betting and the double standards between men’s basketball and women’s gymnastics. Without giving too much away, if Joe Fenti is touring near you, it’s worth catching a show. Be sure to follow him on Instagram at instagram.com/fentifriedchicken to stay up to date on where he will be performing next.

First up was Sam Mangano from Boston, who kicked off the night with a great set. He joked about how his lack of social awareness often leads him to point out things that end up having unexpectedly dark explanations. He also took on Love Is Blind, joking that the show could use an actual blind person — specifically the vainest one imaginable.

Before the show, Sam and Joe enjoyed the backstage amenities at the incredible Rex Theatre, and Joe even stopped in the lobby to take photos with excited fans afterwards.
