Singer-songwriter Claire Rosinkranz stopped by Boston's Brighton Music Hall on the My Lover Tour on May 15th. The curated preshow playlist, featuring "Love/Paranoia" by Tame Impala and "Heart of Glass" by Blondie, infused the venue with a psychedelic, vintage vibe.

First up was pop artist Stevie Bill, who strutted out in sleek black boots, red shorts, and a black corseted sweater, grabbing her mic off a stand adorned with roses. She performed an array of catchy indie pop tracks like "Pieces" and "Water." About midway through her set, she executed a powerful cover of "Purple Rain" by Prince, passionately belting out each note. She ended her set with "Hahaha," a track that perfectly balances an alt-rock beat with vulnerable lyrics, before skipping off stage.

Next up was Rosinkranz, who emerged after a dream-like voiceover whispered, "Wake up Lucy," the name for the singer's unapologetic alter ego, based on her whimsical set-opening track "Lucy." The singer bounced around the stage to the catchy melody, waving to fans and twirling in her rich golden dress. She accessorized it with a vintage headscarf and statement gold bangles. She danced barefoot across the antique rug that draped the stage, channeling the dreamy, ethereal spirit of the 1970s into 2026.

Her airy vocals floated around the venue and lulled Boston into a trance. During the track "Kiss," which she announced in a bubbly tone, "is a song about kissing," she passed out personalized and signed postcards sealed with a lipstick kiss to fans in the audience. Her collection of sparkling bedroom pop anthems held the energy high throughout the night. Performances of "Crazy Bitch Song," "Dancer," and "Backyard Boy" showcased her knack for creating tracks that are just as intimate and relatable as they are danceable and freeing. Make sure to catch Claire Rosinkranz live before the My Lover Tour ends in June. Buy tickets here.
