On September 5th, 2026, Don Toliver brought his Nitrous tour to TD Garden in Boston, MA. This was his second stop in Boston during 2026 as part of his recently released album-titled "Octane" tour. With an observatory in the middle of a forest and a floating nuclear platform, Toliver's Octane-filled setlist, combined with countless previous hits, created a night of moshing and singing your heart out.

Don Toliver's new album, "Octane," creates a surreal and cinematic universe filled with fast cars, gritty yellow- and gold-tinted colors, and classic sci-fi motifs. Put this all together, and you get an atmosphere that feels like the future and the past at the same time. His show and stage production spare no expense in bringing this world to life.


The Start, And A Change No One Expected

As Don Toliver emerged from the larger-than-life observatory dome that dominates the stage, he opened the show with "E85," "OPPOSITE," "Secondhand" (feat. Rema), "All The Signs" (feat. Teezo Touchdown), and "Call Back," all off of his new "Octane" album.

Although, this introduction had a noticeable switch-up from his previous Nitrous sets that fans quickly picked up on. It was the first show during his Nitrous tour where he removed his track "Rendezvous" (feat. Yeat) from the setlist. Many fans speculate this removal was due to the ongoing beef between Yeat and Travis Scott, which puts Don in a difficult spot.

Don and Yeat are long-time collaborators and have released multiple tracks together, like "2TONE," "Griddlë," "GEEKED UP, "and "NEW HIGH," and appear to be close friends. On the other hand, Travis Scott has been a long-time mentor and supporter of Don Toliver's growth as an artist, and has arguably played a significant role in his rise to current popularity. The reason for the removal of "Rendezvous" was further enflamed when fans noticed Don Toliver unfollowed Yeat on all platforms in early September before the Boston show.

Travis Scott and Yeat have had beef off and on dating back to 2025. What seems to have reignited this recent bout is Yeat's close working relationship with Kylie Jenner, who is Travis Scott's ex and the mother of his children.


The Rest of Act 1

Towards the end of Act 1, as "Gemstone" starts playing and the tension builds, Don finally steps onto the nuclear platform and rises to the skies for the first time. The crowd goes crazy as pyrotechnics go off on the stage when the beat drops, with thousands of fans screaming the lyrics. As the songs go on, hundreds of moshing fans below the platform get showered with smoke that's shooting down from beneath the nuclear platform. It was truly insane to witness.

The rest of Act 1 included more "Octane" tracks mixed with multiple fan-favorite hits like "Tore Up," "Lemonade," "Private Landing," "Too Much Money In Here," "No Pole," and "After Party."


Act 2: More Hits and a Fitting Conclusion

After the build-ups and high points from Act 1, Act 2 starts to crescendo down into a grand finale with new "Octane" tracks like "TMU," Tirmimasu," and "Tuition." These were followed up by some previous classic Don Toliver hits like "Bandit" and "Too Many Nights," before playing "E85" a second and final time.

To conclude the evening, Don Toliver finished off with "Sweet Home," which is also the final track on his new album "Octane."
