The pop voice of a generation, Robyn, graced Boston with a dazzling show on The Sexistential Tour at Agganis Arena on September 3rd. Fans dripping in rhinestones and glitter flocked to the venue for a euphoric night of live music and connection. The lights dimmed, and the crowd released thunderous cheers. A sheer white curtain covered the back of the stage as Robyn's confident silhouette appeared. She opened the night with "Blow My Mind," which was recently featured as the theme song in the highly acclaimed Apple TV series Margo's Got Money Troubles. The song set the tone of gratitude and love with lyrics like "Straight up from my heart, you're my number one / It's like you're the cloud underneath my feet," making Boston feel extra special. Soon Robyn peeked out from behind the curtain, as fans jumped with excitement. The singer wore a sleek black bodysuit, bedazzled black gloves, leopard-print kitten heels, and a matching leopard-print leg warmer. Standout tracks "Fembot" and "Really Real" displayed her knack for sparkling pop tracks with an addictive edge. Robyn spent the show executing dance moves, floor choreography on a spinning platform, and strutting down the runway all while belting out lyrics with a smooth and resonant vocal tone, a testament to her stamina. She also employed costume changes to lean into the dance-party club aesthetic, including a leather fringe jacket with "SUCKER" studded on the back, referencing the track "Sucker for Love."

Robyn kicked off her US tour dates in style, sprinkling beloved tracks from her expansive discography throughout the setlist that spanned her latest transcendent project, Sexistential, to classic hits like "Call Your Girlfriend." She ended the night with the cherished track "Dancing on My Own," keeping Boston dancing with abandon until the very last moments of the show.
