Homixide Gang, consisting of members Beno! and Meechie, packed out Boston's "Paradise Rock Club" venue Tuesday night, with opening performances from artists Swapa and Bear1Boss to accommodate the duo's unique sound.

Notably affiliated with rap sensation Playboi Carti and his label "OPIUM", this duo is recognizable by their intense distorted sound that blends elements of hip-hop with punk and metal influences. Referenced through Playboi Carti's repetitive use of the adlib "Homixide! Homixide!", Carti would continuedly co-sign the rap duo, such as in recent hits like Timeless with The Weeknd. With Homixide Gang's rise to prominence beginning in 2021 debuting their album Snotty World, both members continued to release highly anticipated projects with features from Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, Lil Yachty, and more, all leading up to their recent mixtape, I5U5WE5 earlier this year.

With hundreds in attendance, the groundbreaking duo kept crowd energy at an all-time high playing some of their most notable tracks. The crowd couldn't help but open that mosh pit at every golden opportunity in the night, and the duo's chaotic, dark aesthetic kept everyone on their feet encapsulating opium's allure.
