Small Rooms, Bigger Now: Myles Smith Plays Leader Bank Pavilion

Two years ago Myles Smith was a Luton kid with a viral song and a folk-pop sound built for small rooms. On the My Mess, My Heart, My Life tour, he brought that same intimacy to an outdoor amphitheater.

The set leaned hard on the new album, opening with cuts like "My Home" and "Gold" before easing into "Stargazing" and "Nice to Meet You", the two songs that made his career skyrocket in the first place, and the ones that got the loudest reaction of the night.

"Sertraline" and "Dying Days" gave the middle of the set its weight, Smith trading the singalong hooks for something quieter and more confessional. A reminder that under the radio-friendly surface, this is an artist still writing directly about mental health and self-doubt.

He closed with "Stay (If You Wanna Dance)," sending an amphitheater crowd home on the closest thing he has to an anthem.
