Indie rock artist Djo, the musical project of multi-hyphenate talent Joe Keery, announced a slew of solo dates on the East Coast this summer in between his run of opening sets with Tame Impala.
Lucky for New Englanders, the star will be stopping at Thompson’s Point in Portland Maine on July 21st, his first outdoor headline show in the region. The date lands one week before his two-night residency at TD Garden, where he will be opening for Tame Impala on July 28 and 29th. Joining Djo on the road for these shows is Australian psychedelic rock band Pond. Their versatile, entrancing sound lends itself perfectly to this double bill and outdoor summer performance. The five-piece band just released their latest single, "Terrestrials," today. This atmospheric and existential track asks to "forgive me and my terrestrials," expanding their musical history of covering themes like consumerism and environmental destruction.
