In just over a week, the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Greenfield, MA, will be full of 15,000 music-lovers and some of the most exciting indie-folk acts of today. The 2026 Green River Festival lineup features a mix of genres and fan-favorites set to grace the stage on June 19th-21st. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the festival, which began in 1986 at Greenfield Community College. Now, the festival has expanded to a fun-filled three-day extravaganza that celebrates community, art, and passion.

Friday

Mr.Liam kicks off the family-oriented Kidway with a set full of dancing and tomfoolery at 12:30 pm. On the Back Porch Stage and Dean's Beans Stage, She Returns From War and Misty Blues start the music at 1:00 pm. American singer-songwriter Charley Crockett is tasked with closing out the first night of the festival. His soulful and twangy catalog is the perfect set for a warm summer night.

Saturday

Lily Seabird serenades fans on Saturday at 1:00 pm on the Back Porch Stage. Seabird's easy-listening folk makes for a relaxing, dreamy afternoon. Meanwhile, The Animeros will infuse a touch of spunk and lush soundscapes on the Dean's Beans Stage at 1:00 pm. Don't miss The Green River Festival Parade, which features vibrant Giant Puppets from Anne Cubberly at the Art Garden at 5:30 pm. Standout act and New Zealand rockers The Beths return to MA after their sold-out stint of shows at The Royale in December. Their hard-hitting instrumentals, punchy melodies, and whimsy are made for an outdoor set in the sun. PawPaw Rod will bring his disco pop to the headline slot at the Dean's Beans stage, getting the crowd dancing as the breeze moves in.

Sunday

The final day of the festival closes with a bang. Lively acts like Lucius, Wednesday, and Big Freedia are sure to infuse the Fairgrounds with energy and passion. Rockstars and festival closers Geese have exploded into the spotlight recently. Lead singer Cameron Winter's singular vocals and the group's dynamic and fiery tracks will captivate the crowd and end the weekend on a high note.

Returning this year is the Maker's Market, featuring local craft vendors from across New England. Items include handmade clothing, jewelry, art, ceramics, and curated vintage and vinyl vendors, so there's something for everyone. Fans can enjoy music throughout the weekend at the four stages across the Fairgrounds: Dean's Beans Stage, Back Porch Stage, Roundhouse Stage, and Sundial Audio Main Stage.

The festival takes place at the Franklin County Fairgrounds at 89 Wisdom Way, Greenfield, MA 01301. Music runs from 12:30 pm - 10:30 pm on Friday, 12:00 pm - 10:30 pm on Saturday, and 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Sunday. 2026 Camping Add-Ons are already sold out!
