California-based band The Wrecks brought their specific brand of quirky pop-rock to Boston last night, where they played their largest area headline show to date at Royale in the theater district. The group are out on the road in support of their new EP, INSIDE:, which dropped in April. Known for bringing a whimsical element to their live shows, everything down to the stage production displayed a theme of unseriousness. Frontman Nick Anderson joked around with the audience all night, encouraging fans to mosh, talking about gingers, and at one point inviting a fan onstage to sit on the couch they had as part of their setup.

The band will remain on tour throughout the rest of May, dates and tickets can be found HERE.
