Turnover @ House of Blues

Virginia-based dream pop band Turnover visited Boston's House of Blues this week in celebration of the 10th anniversary of their landmark album Peripheral Vision.

Released in 2015 via Boston label Run For Cover Records, the record quickly became a cult classic in the emo scene, propelling the group to massive underground popularity. The album appeared on several Album of the Year lists in 2015 and also managed to chart on multiple Billboard lists. They've since released three more albums, but to this day, their top ten songs on Spotify are all songs from Peripheral Vision.

Wednesday's show in Boston was sold out, as is most of their tour. With a busy night on Lansdowne St. that included a Queens of the Stone Age show at MGM, and a Red Sox game at Fenway, fans filed in to watch Turnover play through their seminal album. They went on to follow up the album set with a few songs from the other records in their catalog.
