Halloween Came Early this Year as The Head and The Heart

The Head and The Heart graced the stage at The Vets Auditorium in Providence, transforming the venue into a musical cauldron of enchantment and emotion. The festive crowd, adorned in creative costumes ranging from ghouls and goblins to whimsical characters, set the tone for a night of musical magic.

At almost 9::00 PM, the lights dimmed, and a hauntingly beautiful melody filled the air. The six-member band emerged amidst the fog, creating an eerie yet inviting atmosphere, perfectly suited for a Halloween celebration. Kicking off the night with "Every Shade of Blue," The Head and The Heart set the tone for a performance filled with emotional depth and musical prowess.

Frontman Jonathan Russell's impassioned vocals, paired with Charity Rose Thielen's harmonious contributions, enchanted the audience from the very first note. The band's signature blend of folk, indie, and Americana resonated throughout the venue, creating a sonic experience that was both introspective and captivating.

The Head and The Heart's connection with the audience was palpable. As they played through their set, the room felt like an intimate gathering, a collective celebration of music and the eerie allure of Halloween night. Jonathan Russell, in particular, was a charismatic presence, engaging with the crowd between songs and encouraging the audience to embrace the spooky ambiance.

The setlist was carefully curated, featuring fan favorites like "Ever Since" "Missed Connection," and "Honeybee." The encore was nothing short of a spectacular finale. "Ghost" "Lost in My Mind"  and “Rivers and Roads” left the audience in awe, and as the band bid farewell, the energy in the room was electric.
