During my second viewing of S4: The Bob Lazar Story on Amazon Prime, I felt inspired to connect with director Luigi Vendittelli. The film is an impressive blend of cutting-edge technology and standout journalism, capturing the rare trust and friendship of Bob Lazar. With the recent release of official government files confirming UFO/UAP activity in our skies, I couldn’t help but wonder when my own fascination began. Flashback to May 1989, when Lazar stunned the world by claiming he’d reverse-engineered alien spacecraft at a hidden Nevada site. Now, after four years of careful collaboration, Vendittelli and the Project Gravitaur team have brought every detail of that mystery to life with precise forensic accuracy.
Interview
MK: First, congratulations to you and your team... the film is a wild ride! How does the final product meet your initial vision for the S4 documentary?
LV: The final product has exceeded my expectations because of the unbelievable leaps in technology we saw during production. Furthermore, nothing was more satisfying than hearing Bob Lazar himself say it looked like we downloaded the imagery straight from his brain.
MK: To those in the UFO community, Bob Lazar is the GOAT. How does it feel to call Bob Lazar a friend?
LV: Becoming friends with Bob is a privilege that I take very seriously. I’m so humbled to call him a friend—but even more humbled to have developed a close friendship with his wonderful wife, Joy, as well. They are two gems who will be forever friends now.
